They are more demanding than my dogs. These are ones I worked up after downloading a couple for the weather challenge. Got more, will post more. Yeah, like greaper's 300 fox shots. I have 300, too, but I won't post quite that many.

Here the mother has come back to the nest (I missed that), of course, with food for the babies. She fed them........... Here is towards the beginning, she is walking across the nest, trying not to step on the babies. Here are two babies.

I cropped the photo, so you could tell where they are, I don't have arrows on my PS.

This is where she is feeding them, I put the crop in the bigger picture. In the few I checked, her eyes are closed when she gives them food. I wonder if they are biting her. The one thing they do appear to have is a good beak.

I was closer later on, I was tired, and if I am close and they fly in, or are together, I don't get it.

Being tired, I liked leaning on my car with the monopod. But I did see the male on another stand, with a small bird who was annoying him. I went down there, shot into the sun, etc. Haven't even looked at them yet.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Thanks, Dude and doughnut. I do feel fortunate this spring on the opportunity I have had, both with the osprey and the egrets and herons.

Now if I could just get some NIGHT HERON babies. :lol4 For Harry, of course.

ginger (I love sharing, wouldn't do it otherwise, thanks for commenting, gives me joy)

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
