    Hi Gary,

I had a Raynox TC for my 707 some time ago. I recall that the instructions said that some aperture settings you could get CA. I would look at the exif data for your shots with and without the problem and check the aperture settings of those shots.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    GAry,

The TC has introduced quite a bit of Chromatic Aberration. Different wavelengths of light are focusing at different places on the sensor, so a polarizing filter will probably not help.

You can stop the lens aperature down further, that should help some.

You can also remove the purple fringing color in post-processing, but you will probably still have an "edge".

A lens hood might help some.

Thanks for your help, aperture was set at 3.1, when you say step it down do you mean a higher number ?

    Regards
