So I went back for our home session and it went pretty well except for the lighting issues. Hopefully they are happy with them

I like them! Nice quality of light in each shot it seems - most of it looks like natural light too, which you used very well. The expression on the child in that third one is somewhat shocking! Like the baby just tasted something nasty!

I am really drawn to the one that you did through the slats in the crib. That just seems like a nice, original idea to my eye. Thanks for posting these.

Thank you The lighting was very hard as there was not much of it (terrible storms) but yes it is all natural light! The parents really wanted a shot of the baby in the crib but with the tree in it (dad painted it)

Wow, you knocked this one out!

Your setting and posing are fantastic. And you always have such amazing eye light in your subjects. How do you always consistently have enough room to get between the light and the subject?

Your framing ideas are phenomenal, especially for a newborn session which I find somewhat daunting in that respect. The crib shot is especially good. I am still scratching my head at the very selective lighting on the baby...it is so well done! I think my fave of the baby alone is #8, love the red and the simplicity. Yumm!

Really love the composition of the last family shot. Beautiful, beautiful set overall...very high-end looking work here. They should be ecstatic!
