Coupon Code insert.... no workie

I tried the javascript code for having your coupon code automatically inserted in the appropriate box on the "sign up page".

The code IS being inserted but.......
I keep seeing this following message
Email/coupon not found, please try again.

whatsup with that?

    Meanwhile question number two now that I got that fixed

    I'd like to be kind and take the prospective new Smugmug customer directly to the sign up page.... saving them time an clicks :-)

    How can I code it so it takes them right here and still insert the code automatically in the applicable "box" ??
