    Help actually needed

    I could actually use the help the first post requested. I am trying to make sure the largest part of my galleries use the default portfolio pricing, but I am not sure what is the best way to do it. If I use the Galleries option in Set price, select the 200+ galleries and set them to the one gallery I know is OK, the operation times out. Heck, even setting 8 galleries at a time takes a LOOONG time.

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Price setting is enough to make you scream, actually it does make you scream.

    The pricing is confusing, I spent until the wee hours putting prices in only to have it time out when I hit save. There has to be a better easier way.

    Which gallery did you try to price? Can you give us a link to it? It shouldn't time out if you save prices that you just entered for a gallery or portfolio pricing. It may happen if you try to copy prices to lots of galleries in bulk. In that case, I would recommend applying it to fewer galleries at a time.

    Did you look into portfolio pricing? That way, you would only have to set your default pricing once and wouldn't have to bother with new galleries unless you want to price them differently than your portfolio. More on that is here.

    While I am new here too, I have not found a way to change the pricing structure of all the gallaries at once. I have found a way to change them however without having to type all that information again.

    What I did was set one with the pricing I wanted. Then in all the rest I did this;

    1. Opened each gallary one at a time.
    2. Went to Tools ---> This Gallary ---> Set Prices
    3. Choose the lab you want to set the pricing for.
    4. Select the drop down box for the box marked "Apply this Pricing"
    5. all the way to the bottom of that list you will see catagories such as "animals" or nature, or whatever you have gallaries in. Find the one that you just set the pricing in and select that gallary.
    6. Next box over is "To these products" select "all products"
    7. click Apply

    Do this for each gallary and you will not have to re-type each gallary pricing.

    Andy is there something easier than that?
