A Shakespeare Garden statue at the Huntington Library.
I thought the red bloom with the green leaves made for a nice complementary color pattern.

    Very COOL! thumb.gif

I'd LOVE to see the whole reflection! Is that possible?

Oh, this wasn't on top of water, the platform of the statue maybe making you think that this is a reflection.

    Thanks all,
I'm usually into more dynamic composition and more vivid colors but this one just struck me this way.

    Hi Tom,

I love the composition and the drama of this shot. I know to expect great light and serene scenes from you! thumb.gif

It seems a little over-sharp to me, maybe a bit crispy around the details. But otherwise this is a really magical shot, indeed.

Thanks for the comment. This was shot with an olympus e 420 which is known for having a strong AA filter, making the images a bit softer than previous oly's. I think knowing this, I may be subconsciously over doing the sharpening to compensate. I'd better watch it from now on.
