Wetlands Birds

Today I went out with a couple of people for a change. Its nice to have some company to muck around with.
Here are the highlights.

1. Brown Falcon.

    The chat is a very nice shot, Steve. thumb.gif

    The falcon is nice too...maybe a portrait crop and some brightening would make it even better. Masking the eye and brightening and sharpening it really helps on these types of close-ups too...IMO.

    thanks ric, I did not do any pp. After i posted it, i looked at it and thought that it would need some extra sparkle..

    Well ric,

    I followed your suggestions and this is what I came up with.
    Thanks for your sage advice..

    I bumped up the expose by +1/3 stop
    and sharpened and brightened around the eye.

    Is this better?

    The stilt is my favorite. I love stilts.. We have Black Necked Stilts here, one of my favorite things to photograph!
