I have tried to use my 55mm micro,manual set but I cant do it.
There is a 10 F - - indication on the screen.
What is going wrong?

Ignore F-- indication.
Make sure the camera body is switched to Manual.
Make sure the lens is switched to manual (if there is a switch)
Be aware that the only the focus light will be available to you.
Set the aperture, physically at the LENS - make sure that the aperture lock is released (if set).
Set the shutter on the camera body.
Focus manually until you are satisfied OR until the focus light comes ON.
Push the button.
Enjoy the results - just as I do on may D80.

Thank you for your help,I have done all these but the shutter speed continue to be 10 sec in all apertures!
