On this coming Memorial Day I thought it only proper to show an image (posted before) of my Step Dad (90) Frank Eddy, Commander USN. Commander of I believe an LST, and a member of the brave men/women of Iowa Jima and there the day they raised our Flag.
I use it as well as an excuse to say that Laura and I wish all of our men/women from past, present or future conflicts our sincerest thanks and God speed.
I know many of our members have current active members of the Armed Forces and we pray for their quick and safe return.
OK enough already here's Frank:
And I should not forget.
Don Kardashian a Sgt. in USA and fought in the European Theatre all the way to Germany.
I apologize for the poor quality of this image, but it's all I got, he left us in 2002. RIP Don

In today's local paper there is two and 1/2 pages in a small font (to fit them all) of those who have died in the current Iraq war, really sad:cry I have many friends who are over there fighting and I pray every night that they return safely.

It's better to be hated for who you are than to be loved for who you're not.
