50D flash dumb question.

Tried using my 430EX on the 50D today for the first time. Did not work....

Playing around with it now and the flash most certainly works. Will fire in the green square mode. So now I gotta ask how do I turn the thing on in Manual mode?

    Nevermind. My wife spent 20 seconds looking at the menus and discovered I had the flash disabled.

    She is encouraging me to buy camera gear. Of course she is a keeper.

    Any wife that lets me head into Henry's alone telling e to buy stuff is a keeper :)
