I'm stuck at home with Mono but I managed to get out for a Sunday ride with my husband. Found these critters in a pasture next to a car wash! Any C&C is welcomed--I tried a few different treatments and enhancements.

Thanks,
Lauren

2. Significant curves adjustments; would be better with both horns showing

4. A vintage effect

6. REMOVED - The more I looked at it the less I liked it.

Hi Lauren. I like the first one but wonder if there was a reason for cropping so close on the left. Would have been nice to see the whole horn. I love the facial expressions on 1 & 4 especially. Like the effect in #4, and the bg in #1 but not the effect in #6. Just my $0.02 of course, others might well disagree.

PS: What the heck are you doing up so late if you're under the weather? Hope you feel better soon.

Great shots Lauren. I really like the first three, but watch that "horn clipping" (lol)thumb.gif

    Gentlemen-

I would like to say that the "horn clipping" is because I'm sick and not in possession of my faculties! Also, the goats were quite mobile. I wish someone else had been there with a camera to catch my expression when I was looking through my viewfinder and suddenly realized there was something rubbing at my chin!rolleyes1.gif

In truth, the clipping is not from illness but because I haven't yet learned to pay enough attention to my overall comps. I'm trying to pay more attention to distracting backgrounds and to avoiding the center, and I also have worked really hard on exposure--now I need to master my subjects! Or maybe i should have started there?! Anyway, thanks for your comments. These goats aren't too far from me so I will go back and try again.
