play out of position - hockey

The season is over, but we have a few sheets left before end of year. The coaches strapped them on and kids got to play places they didn't in the regular season. My son loves to play goalie so he strapped on some pads that are way to small for him and they went for 1.5 hours....

These are all my son, I'll do a separate post for the rest of 'em....

(ignore the extra puck in the nets, they just shoved them there after warm-ups to store them! I'll clone 'em if I decided to print 'em out...)

Were those all shot with the 300mm? Do you find the 300mm a bit long for hockey?
    Nice shots again

thx steve. these are with the D700 FF, so it's a bit shorter than a DX crop camera. the 70-200 is great for mid ice, but short for the corners and goalies.
