Interesting catchlight in the eyes, looks like a paneled window (the main one) but also something in the lower half of his eyes.

    great portraits.

    XO,

    Amazing as always...
    Privet Yuri,

I love this portrait of Avtandil. The look in his eyes is wonderful and seems appropriate for a name that means "heart of the homeland". Would you be willing to offer any tips on how to achieve such great detail in your photos?

    Cheers,
    Kevin K.

    Ha-ha, Peter!
Feeling the influence of my previous posts... :-)

He is a worker my friend 's firm (furniture factory).
He's Georgian (Mingrelian). Life is hard in Georgia - so he 'makes money' here in Russia...

    Yuri,
Your work is excellent, I have been looking at a lot of posts here tonight, but this guy stood out the most, he looks just like St. Cyril in the Icon which I have.... wow... if he had darker hair, he would be his twin!

    Excellent shot by the way.
