Even though this was a strobist event, we went out into our warehouse for various looks.....left the AB's behind and stayed pure to the sport of flash guns, gelled, snooted, umbied, boxed and bare :D

Looks like you guys...gals had fun.

I REALLY dig the first one. The shooting angle....and focal length made me double take...and realize she's a kid. Really fun shot that one!thumb.gif

Something about #9 is very arresting; stopped me in my tracks, uh, scrolling. But the whole series is great...I love the back to basics feel! Thanks for sharing!

Awwww Dave, soooo jealous of the warehouse!!! Agh, I live in the Boston warehouse district, but can't find how I could get into an empty space like that, drives me crazy :cry

You got some fun, interesting and VERY diverse shots here!!! WOW! eek7.gif

#1 is hilarious, haha, cute shot, maybe a tad too grainy for me ...
#2 hmmm .... not one of my favorites, I like the light, maybe it's the pose, don't know .... ne_nau.gif
#3 Wow! Where did she come from?? Haha ... Somebody is having FUN! Interestign processing! clap.gif
#4 beautiful girl! Crisp, nice colors, the chair somehow doesn't fit the location, but everything else is spot on thumb.gif
#5 Haha, she looks like a ham!
#6 Love it! very interesting. Not sure about the sgns on the door, would maybe dial them down a bit so they don't steal the show, but nice light & nice pose
#7 Did you somehow travel back in time?? rolleyes1.gif Very cool!
#8 You need to explain that post processing!!!! How on earth are you doing this? very cool clap.gif
#9 (actress) By far my favorite of this set. Simply stunning, looks like she was on the stage for that one. Love the light in the background. The scarf fits ... hari looks beautiful ... expression is perfect for that shot too + colors match too. Just beautiful iloveyou.gif

    Thanks for sharing clap.gif

Thank you all so kindly. It was a very fun day and the ratio of model to photogs were like 1 model to 2 photogs. That allowed me to try new ideas/concepts. Some of which I knew kind of what I wanted to do in post. I get bored with the same type of shoots, paper bg's, etc. :D

    Thanks for weighing in!
