I haven't taken any bird pics in a long time so I'm posting these to keep my membership up to date :)

these birds are small so I had to really crop the pictures. They were within 10 yards of me, I would really like a 400mm lens:wxwax

    Wow, colourful birds. I think ours over here are all black (in fact I think they were used as the RGB(0,0,0) baseline by the camera manufacturers umph.gif )

    thumb.gifne_nau.gif Shay your shots are just too sharp clap.gif every thing you shoot looks like a studio portrait thumb.gif I thought that a starling was a young crackle my pics did not come out well but i did learn somehing this weekend thumb.gif

    Thanks Brett, the sun was shining directly on him for the first two, presumably it brought out the colours ne_nau.gif , photography is still a mystery to me mwink.gif .

    i really do not know the weather was very overcast and i thought i had the camera set well but almost every shot is soft or just plain crap .like the focus bluured --- but I just went thru them to delete and found a few that I will keep and one i like so headscratch.gifheadscratch.gif this hobby is a pain in the wallet and whats next to the wallet :D
