I warned you…
I posted this in another thread and got zero response of any kind, good or bad.
So Now I’m curious. Is it just because it’s too graphic or evil for most, or does it just plain suck? I’m cool with either.
What is your very first reaction to it?
Where were your eyes drawn to first?
How does this make you feel?

If I were going to show a pic like this I would have tried to give it a lot of drama......If you rather I hadn't done this just say so and I will take it down.
Hi there Phil ...... Ohhhhhhh I like this one!
First impressions is the guy is angry, ready for combat, and is possessed by something evil, maybe ready to morph into some other creature even.
My eyes were drawn to his eyes and his mouth.
I really like what you've done with his eyes .... I don't think it's too graphic cause the blood to me doesn't look real.
Nice work .... Skippy

:skippy Everyone has the right to be stupid, but some people just abuse the privilege :dgrin
P.S. I like that look, I will have to play with that direction a bit.
Skippy... Thanks for the input. I didnt do anything specific to his eyes, he really looked like that. What I did do is create a second layer using.. ( I think posterization... lol cant remember) and adjust the opacity of it.
I see the posterization now. That works very well.
Thanks for mentioning it otherwise I could have easily missed it.
Too busy being in shock.
Azzaro has a interesting possible.
People feel uncomfortable looking at photos of threatening-looking subjects. I recently took some photos at an biker bar and pinned up some prints on my wall. (The photos are in the "Biker" gallery of my SmugMug site)
Family and visitors avoid comment on a couple of them, and - when asked about the specific shots - say they don't like them. It's the subject, not the capture, that they don't like. They react to the subject and not the composition or the quality of the photo.

Posterizing either if you'd not mentioned it, very nice work.
