Definitely getting livelier in the garden - some shots from yesterday.

Spider ballerina - tiny spider about 2mm bodylength trying to paraglide
Red ant chewing on algae from the pond (in the compost heap)
Chloropid fly about 3mm long - thought I'd spotted a nice chalcid wasp
Beetle on the car- about 5mm body length
Crab spider threat poses - it really objected to my presence
Bumble bee Bombus pascuorum sitting on one of my kneeling mats - bloody cheek.
Tadpole update - looks like their eyes are developing
