I met Tara through an internet modeling site. The first model I haver ever shot so it was a fun experience. She was a pretty girl with the most amazing red hair and a lot of fun.
D700 24-70mm most shot at f4 or f2.8. Lit with 36" softbox sb800 and/or natural light.

On the second shot, too much of the left side of her head is illuminated, but I think software can help a lot on that. The rest of the shot, including the lighting, is wonderful. No. 6 is quite lovely too.
Kudos for such an excellent first timethumb.gif

    Hi Miguel,
The second shot is all natural light.
Just my first time with a model.

15524779-Ti.gif The only image that I don't really care for is #2 but it has nothing to do with the technical component - it's that the pose just looks awkward and unnatural to me. The rest thumb.gif

First things first .... Wow! What a gorgeous lady!

Ok, now that that's out of my system :D my faves have to #1 and #4, but with a couple of changes

#1 - I would either crop this just a little tighter on the bottom as you've cut her off at the wrist and the knee. A little thighter would crop between the joints. Or - just a touch looser, for the same reason. I like the first option better.

#4 - If you have it, I would add a bit more back onto the top of the frame - not loving the crop through the very top of her head. But, the lighting here is very, very nice - love the gentle shadows and the catchlights and the fact that the shadow near her left eye is not cast across the iris of her eye. And the pose - love the pose. And the warmth of the color of her hair! Just nice!!

Hair color in number 1 is drastically different than in 6. Hmmm...

Number 5 is my favorite...wow...where's the magazine contract...

    Thanks for sharing...

Thanks to all who took the time to take and look and then comment, I appreciate it.

The hair color and overall color does/will change with the lighting conditions.
All natural with cloud cover she looks strawberry blonde.
Mostly flash the color is redder.
