So my theme is Landscapes of the Northwest. I have 2 potential photos so far. The 1st is a 6 shot panorama of the Seattle skyline:

The 2nd is an hdr of Snoqualmie Falls:

Opinions...critique?

Images are great, but what are your plans for making this a "cover"? headscratch.gif

    Good Point
So my book is Cityscapes of the Northwest and I have come up with the prelim cover and would like some opinions on it or suggestions. My question is photo alone or use this prelim cover:

I like the cover you have there. It seems a little long to be just the front cover. could it be both? Meaning the left side of the picture would wrap to the back... Just me maybe? but I would have the lettering on the right side.

Yeah I like that idea too. Now what would be REALLY cool is if you printed it and affixed it to a book somehow and your photo had someone reading it and it showed that it wrapped all the way around, kindof like Sherstone's hair entry. I don't know if that is what Emily had in mind, but it would be neat!

Thanks all for the great C&C. I like the idea of a wrap-around cover and the title on the right. I have two versions. The only difference is one is darker than the other which I kinda like, but who knows. Let me know which one you guys like.

    The first is:

    The second is:

    Thanks again for the C&C.

Definitely #2, it would be beautiful as wrap cover on an 11X8.5 landscape book!
Please ignore my opinions! And if I ask for constructive criticism, please give it to me. I have really thick skin! :huh

Thanks everybody. I have submitted the darker version. Funny...it was a fluke. I was trying to darken a certain portion with the TAT tool and it ended up curving the entire exposure. Ah mistakes! Without them we wouldn't have Teflon or Scotch Tape or Silly Puddy. Or nice photos.:D

Really nice shot, and the layout works beautifully - I've enjoyed seeing this one develop to the final image! thumb.gif
