I like these. Does anyone own one? Or have an opinion on them?
What I like is that dirt can't get trapped in it. And it seems lighter than the other brands. Before I buy one I was hoping someone had a strong opinion on them. Thank you.

There are several of us here with them -- I shoot horse shows so the ability to actually WASH the dust out of them is a godsend :) I know some folks don't find them as 'high end' as RRS or some others, but they certainly do the job for me, I have no problems with the knobs and I love mine.

Wow so you actually can hose it off? How convenient! :D
Seems even if you don't take it into dusty areas eventually it will collect debris.
One less thing to have to worry and be careful about.
I have an old nikon d70, should be strong enough right?
Which one do you have? What tripod do you use with it?
I plan to go hiking a lot so I am looking for a strong and lightweight combo.
    Thanks

I have the original model (the Ultimate) and used it with my D3 (heavy sucker) and telezooms last week without a shake.

I have just recently acquired a GV2. Using D300 and my biggest lens is a 200mm f2 7lbs with TC and I really like it so far, very smooth operation. The gimbal position seem to work but have not gotten a chance to really give it a work out.

Thanks. Where did you purchase yours? Through the guy that makes them or some other store?
