Ok, so I've been longing to get back to some more archived shots that just didnt quite catch my eye in color and seeing how they look in a black and white setting.
Here's one from the San Juans from this past autumn that gave a bit of interesting light and shadows for a black and white composition.

I actually prefer the second - fills the frame more with that gust of cloud cover. It's like it's heading right at me!
