I just hope it was a scoreless tie...and every player from each team was ejected..but the photos were great

These are great! And in the rain! Really great.

It's too bad the stands were so empty, the UNC uniforms blend in a bit with the silver background. Duke really stands out however.
    Regards

    Will

Mark, nice colors and action! I like the airborne stick!

Do you just shoot for Duke or are you trying to get both sides?

6 is great, but 7 is the best de-sticking shot I have ever seen -- with the ball still in the crosse no less. That is one in a million. Mind my asking your aperture setting for that one? I've been sticking with 4.0 this year (on 2.8 lenses) with good success (although haven't been in rainy conditions yet). You seem to have a few good yards' DOF on that shot -- more than I'd expect from 4.0.

I shot 3.2 to 4.0 on most of these some at 2.8

I shot my first college match today. Now I'm hooked on shooting Lacrosse. Also it makes me appreciate just how good your shots are! After 800 images I only had about 15 "keepers". Here's two of the better ones.
