Iphone Smugmug webpage Issue

For the longest time now (almost a year now) - when using the iphone formatted smugmug website for my online galleries I have not been able to get the 'SHOW ALL - NEWEST' link to work for me - it sits and spins and eventually times out.
However if I click the 'SHOW ALL - OLDEST' I immediately start seeing images displayed.
Could this have something to do with the fact that I have about 17,000 images and it just times out for some reason.
I would drill down into a particular gallery to view the images I want to see - however when I go that route the images are sorted oldest to newest so it takes forever to get to the newer images I want to view.
Is anyone else experiencing this time out issue when trying to use the SHOW ALL - NEWEST link?
Also - are there any enhancements planned for the iphone formatted site - one I would like to see is when viewing by gallery - being able to view images in ascending or descending order by photo date, date uploaded, etc.
Thanks.

I do have some plans for the iphone portal - but sorting was not in the cards (but could be). The main change would be to show a grid of small thumbs to pick from instead of the larger full size photos that we show now.
At least break it up into pages a phone and mobile connection can handle.
Understood - that is what the goal was by switching the page to use thumbnails. Pages of thumbs would certainly be better.
I'm curious - when you say it "may just be my site" - what is it about my site that would cause this problem???
It may be the number of photos you have uploaded - unsure yet.
