I think this is a very interesting photo! You might consider cropping the bottom where it turns dark though and do away with that font. I have a hard time reading it, and it intentionally lists to the right, which doesn't help it. Play around with the cropping from the bottom, maybe you'll find a square crop better, and it will be easier for your font too.

Is this a thriller/mystery type of book?
