Saturday Tease (Mojave again)
In case I failed to mention it earlier, my last trip to Mojave was only a recon trip for this weekend. So, this weekend finally came..:-)
I woke up rather early (4am-ish), picked up my model and off up hwy 14 we went.
#1. Our first stop a lovely orchard was just off the Pearlblossom Highway:
#2: As it's easy to see, the orchards were in full bloom - and yes, we were running just a few minutes late compared to what I planned:
#3: The trunk of my Murano as an impopty MU studio:
#4: Few hours later we were alreay in a totally different area, in one of Mojave Parks. Typical local high desert with Joshua trees everywhere. Naturally, a MU had to be refreshed prior to a new look:
#5: Once we were done with the desert area we swung across the Mojave back to the Poppies Reserve, where they were still not in their best shape quantity wise, but with enough local patches to give us something to work with:
And the best thing - after the shoot we had a very nice picnic in the sierras, next to a gorgeous lake, with a home marinated lamb shahlyk (kinda lamb kabob, but you really can't get it here the way it should be done unless you do it yourself). Sorry, no pikchas ;-)
More later this week!

Looks like you had a lot of FUN, can't wait to see the pics!!
Yeah, spring is finally coming to SoCal...:-)
Pretty much word for word what I was going to say. Just add a thought or two about the amazing beauty of those blossoming trees and you'd have it just right.
Bring it on Nik. We are waiting!

Heather, I will, soon!
However, it will all go straight to GoFigure, cause neither me, nor my model had nothing to hide:-)
