    How about if I crop #1 like this... better or still #2?

    It does look nice with that crop, great improvement. I really like them both. I am thinking that #2 is still my favorite though.

    Tihs one is tough. The recrop works a lot better and makes this a toss-up for me. I would go with the one that better suits the mood that you would like to convey. The first one with the dark clouds is more ominous while the 2nd one is more hopeful - like the destination is a place I want to get to rather than dread...
