Thanks, I've been using a Lexar 80X with no problems, but better safe than sorry.

Just set up the RMA for my Lexar 80X CF - come to find out, mine was one of the affected bunch, but I have never had a problem.

I have one of those cards too, let me know how it goes.

I also updated the firmware in my 1DmkII and 350D, all seems ok so far.

I went with the $10 advanced replacement since I'm hitting the road this weekend and need every card I have for BYOB and hopefully some nice nature stuff. Confusing, the automated email after I completed it was telling me where to mail the card to (garlic heaven Gilroy, CA). Website says 7 day normal turnaround, they have my money, we will see how it goes.

Thanks for the Link - mine was "Bad" as well. What was up with the advanced replacement option for $10.00. I went with the free option.

I received a Lexar 2GB 80x CF card back today, not the one I sent. I did a quick test and all seems well, hopefully it will continue to work well.

Lexar received it on June 22, it was actually out for delivery on July 7th, just over two weeks.
