I shot these at a car show in Toronto.
Felt totaly under equiped compared to other photographers
Didn't use a flash tried to use avaliable light.
Don't have external flash with deflector yet saving money to get that.

I like them especially considering the equipment and available light.

i wonder if a fast prime like one of the 50mm variants would help in those situation. No idea of course how well lit the runway/stage was.

That first shot is a bit generic but the second has a great photojournalism feel to it with all the crazy posing and your angle! Don't be too discouraged about your gear-- there's plenty you can do with available light. I like how the personality of the models comes through on that second shot and personally think a flash would have taken away from it.

15524779-Ti.gif - this is a good stuff. You should be quite pleased with this result. I know I would be - FWIWmwink.gif

Agree with the others, but one small niggle: the placement of the blonde-in-blue's elbow in the first shot makes it looks like something else entirely! I totally thought she had fallen out of her top when I first glanced at it - the fact that the blue on the bangle exactly matches the suit helps to create the illusion. Not sure if you can do much to fix that with PP (maybe burn it in a little darker or clone out the bangle or something? Dunno...) but just sayin.... ne_nau.gif:D

Yea haha - I totally goggled as well. The first thing that popped into my head was, "Uhoh someone had a wardrobe malfunction!" Then I blinked several times to unblur my contacts and it was an elbow!

They were alright but not excellent as it seemed you were standing in a lower ground that the models.
Try again. Try to get a stall and go few steps upward.
