Spoons

Taken from an idea I had seen, these are three wooden spoons (I thought we only had one so hadn't bothered to do it until I spotted the others) set against a white polystyrene sheet background.
I had to then blur out the bg cos it was too distracting as I wanted it clean for my filter work to sit better in the image. So I selected the white, and lifted the levels high and white and then ran a filter to give it the final look and toning. Added a tiny bit of burn at the corners and a miniscule bordered edge.
WDYT?
Paul.

The concept is well-executed. I like the presentation.
I am not keen on the vignetting here. Not that you used it - just how it looks - very heavy in the corners and nothing around the edges. Also, I feel that the cracks in the spoons should be darker, perhaps about zone I or II. Right now the cracks appear about zone IV, which makes the spoons appear rather flat. But, this is just my opinion.

Overall, I like the idea--it's definitely an image I would hang in my kitchen!

:ps
It's just something different I tried, and it seems to be an OK image.
