Its been some time since I have been active here and its high time to get back into it. I figure no better way that to share a shot of my long time photo nemesis, the belted kingfisher. I could just post hundreds of near hits that turned into blurry overexposed terrible butt shots as a lead in but my attention span has proved prohibitive...
Without further delay--the first kingfisher shot that wont be deleted.
5d2 with sigma 500 4.5 handheld
Thanks for stopping by and I'm looking forward to posting more (or at least trying:thumb).

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
Thanks Harry!
Never been able to get a decent one of these guys.:cry

Thanks Ric! The siggy 500 4.5 is pretty hand hold-able. I thought you'd be more surprised at the 5D2 that is well know to be unable to focus fast enough for BIF
