I sold a digital download today. It's not my first download but, the first time I noticed this in the sale details.
Date order placed: 2009-03-26 21:49:50
Status: Delayed for proofing & touch-up, processing begins on March 27th at 06:04:49 PST.Done and ready to ship?
You may make changes to the order below by adjusting crops and replacing photos, where needed.
Gotcha: Only replace with images that are in sRGB colorspace. After replacing any photo, please double-check the cropping! More proof-delay help.
1. Why am I getting a proof delay message for a digital download?
2. Why is it suggesting SRGB colorspace?
Thank you in advance for your replies,
Markjay

I knew you'd come to the right conclusion regarding leaving a proof delay message for a digital download order :-)
You didn't adress the second question:
why are you asking / suggesting sRGB color space?
That message is obviously designed for a print job (the proof delay message), are you saying the preferred print color space is sRGB?

I just had the same thing, and I clicked on "ship it" anyway... I presume that the customer didn't notice any of this and were able to DL the image straightaway?

Yes, customers don't see any impact of this.
