    Not that I have any real experience with this type of shot...but I would tone down those specks of blown highlights.

    Good composition and another great use of shadow patterns. I would try to reduce the noise in the background some.

    That is actually the texture of the wall Richard, but I can see how that would appear to look like noise. Thanks for the feedback. :D

    You are right Richard. I should have created a shallower dof on this.

    It's easy to fix in post. Just use a crude mask and a surface blur on the background.
