Hi Checking into the landscape forum
Here is an image from last year, take in Northumbria (U.K). The Northumbria coast is a very popular place with U.K photographers
Dunstanbrugh castle in the background...dawn light creeping in ...these rocks are really slippery but I wanted to get some space around these black rocks so I had to get close and into the tide althoughthe bruises on my knees from sliding and falling were the downside while keeping the camera up and out of trouble. One aspect of this image that works for me is that fact that the warmth of the dawn light reflects on the foreground rocks. I love beautiful light!
Best regards
Jane

Very beautiful shot. One of these days I hope to make it up that way!
Thanks,

The low shooting position, excellent depth of field, exposure and composition are keys to this image.
I find myself completely absorbed looking at the swirls and eddies around the rocks, the texture of the clouds, and then...Oh look! a castle!
