Off the Cooker

This morning, the moosus gave our gas cooker it decadel clean down ((heheheh - thats a good wipe once in every ten years) joking wifey...) and as the parts were left to dry on the sink drainer, I thought maybe there is something to use for us macro and still life enthusiasts.
I actually bracketed +2EV and -2EV but found the exposure from the camera was more or less spot on in between at 0EV. In LR I did tweak the contrast +5 and the blacks +5 to make sure the perspex held its darkness and should no dust specs.
Central composition and in PS a layer with a high pass filter was the last action after a small matching frame had been added.
Opinions as always in the form of C&C welcomed.

I tend to use this nearly all the time for sharpening. It produces far fewer halo's.
