    Great shot! Love the dewlap.

We have a yard full of green anoles. When I was at Disney a few years ago, I got a great shot of a brown and wondered what the difference was. I looked them up and found out that they don't fight often, but whenever they do, the green will almost always win. They are fascinating.
Please ignore my opinions! And if I ask for constructive criticism, please give it to me. I have really thick skin! :huh

I live in Florida (Orlando area). A few weeks back I went to a zoo near here. I noticed a crowd of about six people intently watching something on the ground. I figured some exotic animal had escaped from its cage and went over to grab a photo.

It was a group of tourists from the UK, and they were watching a green anole. The anole is as common down here as fleas on a dog. Surrounded by animals from all over the world, and they were watching an anole.

This photo was taken with a Tamron 200-500mm lens set at 418mm. I don't think it would be considered a "macro" by any Macro photographer.
