How was someone able to do this?

On Thursday, I received a standard comment email;
Lucky you! A fan commented on a photo in your web 4 gallery. Click this link to view the comment: http://knippixels.smugmug.com/gallery/7721853_AeT3J/1/499032582_JFCPL/Large

I clicked on it, saw it was a shot from last weekends races, and forgot about until today. While going through my emails, I noticed that this was done in my "web 4" gallery. :scratch :dunno

Web 4 is a new, unlisted gallery that I created on Wednesday(I think); http://knippixels.smugmug.com/gallery/7721853_AeT3J

It is located in my Subcategory titled 'Other', in which ALL of the galleries are unlisted.

As of Thursday, none of the shots in that gallery had been posted anywhere, which would have given access to it. None were posted until this morning.

So, how was someone able to find, and access that gallery, and post a comment three days ago?

Btw, the comment was simply "Good timing", but the comment is now gone :dunno , and I can't remember the name of the author.

Thanks

Jim

    Don't think so. mwink.gif

    This is interesting.... here's the stat count from that gallery;

    Check out the stats on the 'hijacked'(?) photo in question, compared to the others, which were just posted on the net this morning.

    Btw, is there any chance that there would be a record of the name of the person that posted the comment?

    Is it possible to google or other search engine to find a keyword in an unlisted gallery and lead the surfer to that gallery that way?

    It would seem so if you did not set the "hello world" option to no.
