I took pictures from the stands, wanted to be on the floor
couldn't get a press pass.
I got as close as i got get during practice ,wish i had a 70-200 f2.8.
I used my 55-250 IS f4.0 ,after opening ceremonies and fireworks.
A cloud of smoke hung in the air blocking alot of the light.
I had to shoot at ISO 800 and 1/250

    the guys on the floor don't always get all the good shots

    I like your shot of everybody catching air among pilons. Busy as hell, but you don't see that perspective much.

    I shot superX at Daytona this month. They had lights behind the 'stands/spectators on the riders. So the floor guys had to shoot into the light with riders in a shadow.
