Absolutely stunning. Very beautiful bird. Though I think there may be a little too much 'head room' in the composition of these shots since the feet are cropped. Otherwise wow. thumb.gif

Very clean shots and good looking but why did you cut off the perch and feet headscratch.gif

Seems like you were right on top of that bird.
Awesome capture, great detail, well exposed, etc., etc.

If you are going to crop the feet , then crop higher so that you're eye is not immediately drawn to what is not there!

    Otherwise great shots!

Not to sound like a parrot...but the missing feet does distract from what is otherwise quite spectacular.

If I couldn't get the feet in I'd crop tighter.:D

Great shots!thumb.gifthumb.gif One of the nice things about osprey is that I have found they don't get to put off by our presence. I found one in a tree right near a family playing on the beach, so I beached my kayak and grabbed my camera and it let me get quite close with out showing any signs of aggitation or flying away! The trick is to find one in an accessable perch!
