Visited this old Mission at Santa Barbara, CA. The Missions were founded when California was a Spanish Colony and they provided shelter for travelers and also helped convert the natives to Catholicism. All political/cultural things aside, it's a nice place to visit.

2. Homer at the mission.

4. All the Missions are stylized with these arches and columns.

I like the first shot. Nice DOF and the B&W treatment really makes the shot!

Nice, Tom. I like them all, but the fountain. I think that one's a bit boring. I love the unique view you bring to these places. Really great eye for details and patterns. thumb.gif

Several of us were there last spring so I can appreciate even more what your images demonstrate.

    Nicely captured and rendered.

Not so much about Homer though:D

Ah Homer, I take him along for kicks and giggles. If "What the Duck" plush duck doll wasn't so big and made of plastic, I'd gladly take him along instead.

Oh man. I think you did a really good job of making a typically somber place look engaging and even funny. Awesome.
