Displaying Exif on a photo

It may have been covered here am not sure but...

I want to add some exif data to display on a photo (as in a Date/time stamp) in the bottom corner of a group of photo's.
Anyone have an action or an idea on how I'd go about this without using a different software package. (I have CS3)

I think one could take the concepts in that action and roll their own to their individual specificiations.
