Can't get rid of SmugMug Footer

Folks, I've had this problem since I started my SM account (Power) and still can't figure it out.

I can't get the SmugMug footer to turn off.

I log on, Go to Control Panel->Site Wide Customization and click the "Display Full SmugMug Footer" to No. I've still got the SmugMug Footer. I try putting in my own Footer, that works but the SmugMug Footer is still below my custom Footer.

This seems too simple. What could be wrong?

You're not allowed to remove the smugmug footer - that's part of the agreement with smug. You can change it to the small footer though. See # 16 in the customization faq - http://www.smugmug.com/help/customize-faq.

Thanks Denise, I guess I didn't read the fine print under #16. It does tell me what I really wanted and that was to remove the feed and the logout, etc...

I didn't realize it was required, but I actually didn't want to totally remove the smugmug footer anyway, I wanted to change it to a more graphical and simple "Powered by {smugmug pic}" Where {smugmug pic} is the cute SmugMug :-D word/picture, like in the top right side of the Dgrin header.

Any way to do this?
