HDR Deadfall

Tree stump multi-ex HDR attempt. Shoulda done it with shallow DOF, and might re-shoot it that way the next time I'm back there..

    I think the major problem is that it's just not a particularly interesting shot. The other thing is that it really isn't the kind of image that would highlight the effects of HDR. It's not worth the trouble for this image, in my opinion.

    I would try looking for a more interesting angle on the subject, something to make it pop, as well as finding a composition that has a lot of very light and dark areas that would look interesting with HDR.

    Yeah, I guess the flat light of a cloudy day kind of defeats everything on top of the other issues in my choosing that subject and composition. Obviously still trying to figure it all out! Thanks for the feedback.
