My Photoshop skills, limited as they are, start and stop with photos, adding text is out of my league, so I kept it simple
Any thoughts or suggestions on the text (from a layout perspective) or photo would be appreciated!
This is my first choice, #1:
Some other photos that might work with a same or similar title. These should all have enough space to add some text to the top and/or bottom.
#2:
#3:
#4:
#5:
And here are some non-Stanley Park photos taken within the contest period, I would have to come up with titles for these.
#6, Mt. Si (also have a pano version of this but it probably wouldn't work for this challenge):
#7: Sandhill Cranes
#8, Sandhill Cranes:
And I also have some photos from this week, but I haven't taken them yet, and I don't know where they'll be or what they'll look like :lol3

you give us that many AWESOME shots to choose from and then throw in the combination that some are so close to home for me, how can I Choose????
My favorites are #1 and #8 that's as narrow as you get from me D
If you use #3 get rid of the Chevron sign. I tried to go the opposite route and tell you them in the order of least favorite first, but the only one that doesn't seem to strike a real strong chord with me is #6... but even that is still such a strong shot. You make me sick. You have your work cut out for you.
#1 for me.

Actually, I think you should be banned, and not allowed to participate

You live in a beautiful place - as I'm sure you're well aware. I love going up to Vancouver, I hadn't been up there for almost a year and was well overdue. I'll probably be spending a few weeks in the Canadian Rockies this year too.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree about that Chevron sign, it's the bane of my existence whenever I do a shot of Canada Place from Stanley Park.

Thanks Pexi - but please don't withdraw your entry! I'm going to submit #1, that was my favorite and seems to everyone else's too.
