Aperture, Albums and Stacks

This is pissing me off. I created an album and I want to drag some photos to it from other albums and projects. But the problem is I often am dragging an image from a stack, and I only want one image, not the whole stack, to drag to the new album. There has to be a way to do this. I want to be able to do a mass export from this album, so only having the images I want is crucial.

Stack are meant/designed to stay together
This is one of the great things about stacks.

Is the picture that you are wanting to drag to the other album the "stack pick"? If so, just close the stack by pressing Shift-K. If you are wanting to drag a picture that is not the "stack pick" to the other album, you might want to read this:

You can unstack the stack and then do what you want.
