A viewer cannot get access in any way to a non-watermarked version of your photo (as long as originals are not enabled). That's the whole point of watermarks. They are on all publicly available copies of your photos with no way around them.
If you, the site owner, want to share a non-watermarked version of the image, then you need to make a second copy of the image (probably in a different gallery) that is not watermarked and then share that one.

Not sure I understand this part "A viewer cannot get access in any way to a non-watermarked version of your photo (as long as originals are not enabled)."
did you mean "A viewer cannot get access in any way to a watermarked version of your photo (as long as originals are not enabled)." ?
My understanding is if a photo is non-watermarked, a viewer could simply do a screen capture, correct?

Let's back up here. What problem are you trying to solve?
There is no way around a watermark as Smugmug. All sizes except the original have the watermark burned into them permanently unless you, the site owner, tell Smugmug to remove the watermark by regenerating new display copies from the original without the watermark.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know - I appreciate the info.
