Drats... the old "external links" issue. --- sorry
Have to agree with Richard though. Its a pretty sweet shot and PP job.
Great shot and post processing.
Kind of a look to the past isn't it, they just don't build them like that anymore and the petrified wood is unbelievable.

Now that's funny
Thanks Richard
Thanks DaddyO, and sorry about the earlier snaffu when you looked.
I've never seen an old station like this. I wouldn't have even know what it was.

Thanks Craig,
It's a beautiful structure & I'll get better pics of it when I'm there in good light, not mid-afternoon. There are several buildings in this little town (Glen Rose) that were built with readily available rock from the riverbed. Petrified wood was also plentiful in the area and was used quite nicely as interesting features in the build. Those stone masons were true artist.
You guys/gals crack me up!
I've never posted a pic that got this kind of strangeness.
But, that being said: I have to agree -- The composition and shape draw my eyes into the picture quickly, but the mis-mash of the building makes my eyes want to turn away, but they've got to stay to investigate the details.
Very strange indeed
Lauren, thanks as always for looking
Jason, glad you enjoyed it & thanks for looking
But I did stop at the Koffee Kup in Hico a few times!
You know I always enjoy looking at your work. I hope you'll make a trip back to San Antonio so we can go out shooting together.
Cheers,
Lauren

Hey Lauren,
I have in the past shot pics of the dinosaur park/tracks, but when my 500GB external WD drive crashed, I lost a lot of photos. :cry
NOTE: I have since resolved the backup crashing/loosing pictures issue. Two seperate Buffalo TeraStations running RAID5. One is a 1TB, the other a 2TB unit.
Koffee Kup in Hico, think I just put on 2 pounds thinking about those pies That's a big stop for bikers, as is the Hard 8 BBQ in Stephenville. We ride there often.
San Antonio - I still haven't processed the pics from my recent trip down there yet.
Thanks for your comments.
Michael
Thank you Mr. Azzaro
