Those are fantastic. It reminds me of just how further I need to go to improve my shots of my feathered friends. Last Friday I was driving by Stumpy Lake on the way to work and there were a half dozen blue herons standing in the marsh just off the road. I returned Saturday loaded for a shootfest and not one was to be found. Maybe this weekend will provide better opportunities.
