Arrow gone?

When not logged-in a double arrow appears above the photos saying "22 of 57" depending on the photo number in the gallery. When I login this double arrow is not visible. I have had several customers (that don't want to order online) mail me orders using these numbers instead of image numbers. I can place the orders in my cart while logged-out then login and complete but seems like some unnecessary steps.
Any suggestions?
