    Why are you shooting at F6.3, and why aren't you shooting -EV, in bright sunlight, or adjusting for in PP, with a D300? Or many other cameras, for that matter. mwink.gif

    I'm shooting with a sigma 50-500. It winds up at f6.3 very quickly. Most of the angles I had, left a good portion of the face in shadows, hence the +ev. As for not bringing those two down, their primary purpose is newsprint. They tend to brighten things up due to the color of the paper, so I didn't darken just to have the paper lighten them up again. Your version does look a bit better on screen though.
