These may sound like dumb questions, and they probably are. But I was thinking of opening up the shopping cart for my customers and having SmugMug do the printing of my photos. I have a couple questions, and I may think of others later on, but the first one I was wondering about is this: If someone wanted to buy a photo, but wanted it cropped so that just the subject is in it, and all the annoying stuff is out of it, does SmugMug do that? Also, is editing of any kind done to a sold photo before it's printed and sent to the customer? Since I would no longer be doing it all personally, those are just a couple questions I have initially.

Hi Shark!

We can't make changes like crops to orders. Customers can crop their own photos in the shopping cart, or you, as the pro, can opt to add proof delay to your orders, and take care of that for them. Proof delay allows you to correct crops, or retouch and replace photos, if needed. We highly recommend it. Look here to see more: http://www.smugmug.com/help/proof-retouch-replace

As for editing, you can choose to use our color correction options. Each lab has a little different offering for color correction. As a pro, you can choose the lab that will best suit your needs. See the good stuff right here: http://www.smugmug.com/help/choice-of-printing-labs
